Winter 2004 Newsletter February 2004
The holidays are over, the cadets are back at school and we are enjoying the beautiful Arizona winter now. It's been a busy fall and especially busy December.
All Academies Fall Picnic

A wonderful event was recently planned and
executed by this year's board. It was one that we have wanted to try for
years! The idea was to have a Fall Picnic and invite all of the other
academy parent organizations, here in Arizona. The picnic was held on a Sunday
afternoon at Sahuaro Ranch Park, under the pavilions. The weather was
beautiful, the decorations that President, Ruth Janzik-Klenk provided were
awesome, and they really got everyone into a patriotic spirit. The food
from the potluck buffet, was a superb variety of culinary fare. A raffle
was held during the course of the afternoon/evening and there were many great
prizes given away.

AF impressed our guests from the other parent organizations so much with this
event, that it was suggested by many of them that AF sponsor one more picnic and
then perhaps the other clubs would be interested in passing the hosting of this
picnic from club to club. The intention is to make it a celebrated annual
event, similar to the Holiday Ball! What a fantastic idea!! A great
and relaxed evening was shared by all....
All Academies Ball
